Auto Body Paint Technician

We are looking for a self-motivated, dedicated, and reliable Auto Body Paint Technician to support our team. If one of our vehicles sustains damage, our body shop team is responsible for a safe and secure repair, ensuring that our fleet remains in pristine condition.

Responsibilities:
• To paint surfaces of vehicles using spray-painting equipment, power tools, and work aids utilizing specific surface preparation and painting techniques
• Checking and maintaining the spraying tools, spray booth, stocks of filters, paints, and abrasives
• Implement dismantling and assembly work
• Maintains a neat and orderly working area and proper handling of company tools
• Makes decisions on repair vs. replacement considering safety, costs, and cycle time
• Use various welding methods to modify and repair damaged vehicles
• Sands and prime coats exterior and interior automobile surfaces in preparation for finish painting

Qualifications:
• Minimum of 3 years related experience and/or training
• Strong attention to detail
• Valid driver's license, with at least 3 years of driving experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
• You are flexible (no 8 to 5 mentality)
• Familiar with computer applications
